Project Scheduler

The Position

ATAC has an opening for a Project Scheduler. This is a full-time position and will be located at ATAC offices in the Washington D.C. area or Santa Clara, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting large government projects with project scheduling and earned value management system (EVMS) requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide scheduling expertise in oversight of major cost-plus and EVMS project tasks.
  • Review project schedule and supporting documentation to ensure projects are built safely; within budget, on schedule and within scope.
  • Serve as technical resource and subject matter expert in area of project scheduling.

A background check will be required for this position.

Qualifications

ATAC is looking for career-minded people with the potential to grow professionally and advance into positions of greater technical and project management responsibility. 

Required attributes include: 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in science, technology, engineering or math, business or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of scheduling experience in development/maintenance of Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules on large capital projects.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in software development or related IT field.
  • Must have experience planning, scheduling, project monitoring and project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
