Subcontract Administrator

The Position

ATAC has an opening for a Subcontract Administrator. The Subcontract Administrator will work closely with the Director of Contracts and will be responsible for performing the full range of sub-contract administration functions for a portfolio of sub-contracts. Additionally, this person will administer ongoing sub-contracts as well as support the establishment of new sub-contracts. The Subcontract Administrator will formulate and execute business strategies to reduce risk, enhance customer satisfaction, build positive relationships, improve profitability and support the generation of business opportunities.
Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist Senior Management and the Director of Contracts in the preparation, negotiation, coordination and execution of all ATAC sub-contracts, purchasing and purchase orders
  • Maintain sub-contract files, including sub-contract documentation, reporting and invoicing.
  • Act as the focal point for communication and contact with ATAC Program Managers and sub-contractor staff for all sub-contract matters, both pre- and post-award
  • Work closely with ATAC and sub-contractor accounting and finance managers to ensure successful financial and administrative execution of all sub-contracts
  • Assist the administrative and accounting departments

A background check will be required for this position.

Qualifications

ATAC is looking for a career-minded person who aspires to grow professionally and potentially advance into a senior executive contract position in the company.
Required are: 

  • 8-10 years of administrative and office experience
  • Strong analytical skills together with professional demeanor, mature judgment, team building, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and experience in interactions with senior executives, Program Managers, and sub-contractor executives and staff.
  • Must have, or be able to acquire quickly, a working knowledge of the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to business challenges
  • B.S. Degree
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
